KARTING

If you've raced indoor karts and liked the thrills, spills and speed of the competition but, perhaps, have been unimpressed by the fumes or the hospitality, then now is the time to try outdoor racing at our unique venue.

Picture this: A superb location in beautiful Worcestershire countryside, yet only minutes away from junction 6 of the M5 motorway. A Lodge Style clubhouse to relax in, and finally a purpose built, all tarmac Kart Racing Circuit.

The March Hare Leisure Centre has all this and much more. We use Honda powered K.T.S. Karts for our races. All meetings and practice sessions are fully marshalled and run under the supervision of our experienced Race Directors to National Karting Association guide lines. Track safety talks and walks are included at all levels and friendly help or instruction is always available. Helmets, overalls, balaclavas and gloves are provided for drivers to help ensure that the highest levels of safety are maintained. Wet weather overalls are available should it rain.

The circuit offers a testing selection of corners and cambers and includes a challenging, swooping downhill section. As well as the strategically placed marshals posts, the circuit also boasts a light system for incident warnings and, of course, for the all important race starts. Races are timed on our Tag Heuer Supersport system and drivers times & positions can be printed out and viewed in the covered viewing gallery.

There are ample spectating areas next to the starting grid and also at high level on the circuit banking. We can offer various race formats from Mini Prix and Grand Prix to Team Endurance races for up to about 30 drivers. We also do our Q1 Sessions which offer exclusive use of the circuit for small groups of 6 drivers upwards.

Please note: Karting is restricted to drivers aged 16 and above. No alcohol may be consumed by drivers before or during racing.

This, however, is only a small part of what is available. After your race you can relax in the comfort of the licensed clubhouse with the log fires in winter, or in the summer, on the decking area overlooking the stream and waterfall, and sample a variety of alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages, and, maybe have one of our legendary BBQs. This is also the perfect venue for functions, receptions, parties, business meetings and corporate events. You may also wish to view the rest of our site which includes a 10 stand Clay Pigeon shoot, Practical Shotgun range, 25m and 45m .22 Rifle ranges, Pistol, Crossbow, Target and Field Archery ranges and Team Building Assault Course. For further details of any of the above, please phone us on 01905 381219 or email info@march-hare.co.uk.
